Logona Herbal Hair Color provides intense color results, natural coverage, and beautiful shine. This high-quality herbal hair coloring powder consists of organic henna and other natural plant-based dyes. The hair color is vegan and NaTrue certified.
The plant powder is finely ground, allowing the color pigments to adhere exceptionally well to the natural hair structure. For optimal color adherence, we recommend thoroughly cleaning your hair and removing all traces of hair products before applying the hair color. We recommend using Logona Essential Care Organic Nettle Shampoo or Logona Color Prep Treatment.

Color Shade Mahogany Red:
This shade is particularly suitable for dark blonde to medium brown hair and provides an even, well-groomed, natural, intense shimmer. The hair does not become lighter with use (see instructions). Use the color chart if you are unsure which shade to choose. Always start by mixing a small amount of powder and apply to a test strand to see the result on your specific hair.
Keep in mind that plant-based hair dyes develop their full color brilliance only after approximately 48 hours. Brown and black shades continue to darken during this period.

One package (2 x 50 g bags) is usually sufficient for shoulder-length hair.
You will also need:
- Boiling water (kettle)
- An old towel
- A bowl
- A coloring brush
- A whisk
- A comb
Preparation:
Read the enclosed instructions before use. Determine your desired target color based on your starting hair color. Remove all silicones, dandruff, and styling residues from your hair. Use liquid LOGONA shampoos. For a deep cleanse, we recommend Logona Color Prep pre-treatment. We recommend watching the instruction video available among the product images before you begin.
Mixing the color powder:
Determine the amount of powder based on hair length, refer to the instructions. Pour the powder into a bowl.
Boil the appropriate amount of water: 300 ml for two sachets and 150 ml for one sachet. Gradually add the water to the powder while stirring constantly until you achieve a smooth, slightly firm consistency. Two sachets are usually sufficient for shoulder-length hair, and one sachet is enough for short hair or if you're only coloring the roots.
Tip: The hair dye mixture becomes somewhat thicker over time. If this happens, you can gradually add a little warm water to achieve a looser consistency.
Application:
Protect your clothes and hands (use the gloves provided) as well as floors and walls. Place a towel over your shoulders. Apply the mixed hair dye to freshly washed hair, strand by strand until all hair is covered.
Then remove all color residue from the skin and cover your hair with the disposable cap provided. Wrap a towel around your head/hair. Use the hair dye while it's warm (but not hot). The hair dye stays warm longer if placed in a warm water bath.
Tip 1: A thick cream along the hairline protects the skin from staining. The cream must not come into contact with the hair.
Tip 2: Additional heat such as sunlight or a hood dryer intensifies the coloring process.
Processing Time:
The herbal hair color can be left in the hair for up to 2 hours; the longer the processing time, the more intense the result. For longer and/or thicker hair, a longer processing time is recommended.
The Mahogany Red shade requires a processing time between 30 minutes - 2 hours.
Rinsing:
Rinse out the hair dye with warm water (without shampoo). Note! For optimal color preservation, wait 24-48 hours before washing your hair with shampoo.
Color Fixation & After-Treatment:
Apply the included after-treatment with organic nettle to damp hair, using a comb to distribute it evenly. Let the treatment work for about 5 minutes, then rinse it out. The color-preserving after-treatment with organic nettle extract completes the hair coloring process.
It evens out the hair structure, locks in the color pigments and forms a protective film around the hair. For well-groomed hair, easy combing, long-lasting color results and a healthy shine. We advise against bleaching the hair after coloring with our herbal hair dyes.
