Cold-pressed Hemp Oil is a wonderful oil with a nutty flavor and an excellent balance of nourishing essential fatty acids.
Vegetable omega-3 from oils like hemp oil is called ALA. Vegetable omega-6 is called LA. ALA and LA are essential fatty acids, which means the body needs them but cannot produce them on its own. We must obtain them through our diet. These EFAs are not used for energy or stored like other fats we eat. They are used as raw materials for cell structure and function as precursors for many of the body's vital biochemicals, such as hormones and prostaglandins.
As skincare:
Hemp oil can also be used as an oil for dry and itchy skin. Hemp oil can be soothing for eczema, reduce redness, alleviate skin problems such as acne, and calm allergic reactions. Hemp is not only nourishing for the skin but also for the hair and can be used as a hair mask.
Usage: Use daily on food or in smoothies. It tastes great on salads, rice, and vegetables. NOTE! Do not heat, as this will destroy the oil.

Hemp Seeds are grown and pressed in Lithuania. The seeds, which come exclusively from controlled organic industrial hemp cultivation (THC-free), are first mechanically cleaned to remove all other seeds, plant parts, and similar materials. They are then dried at a temperature that never exceeds 40°C. Each batch is tested for bacteria, heavy metals, and pesticides.
Only a single virgin pressing of the hemp mass is then performed. This takes place in a cooled controlled environment under 40°C to ensure all sensitive fats remain intact. After this, the oil is left in dark containers for 2-4 days for natural stratification, where sediments can settle to the bottom and separate from the clear oil.
Storage: Store in refrigerator and use within 6 weeks after opening.
